Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join the Neurology Clinic team at Lakeway, TX. You will evaluate patients, provide direct care, and contribute to care planning, intervention, and evaluation under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes precision, vigilance, and patient-focused care, with clear reporting of changes in patient conditions per Texas Nursing Practice Act guidelines. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Nursing field studies; LVN required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Must hold a Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential and can be obtained within 30 days of joining.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and contribute to care planning and evaluation.
• Participate in evaluating nursing practice effectiveness and quality by reviewing indicators.
• Create a caring, safe, healing environment.
• Manage pain and promote comfort for patients.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and other staff; collaborate with the care team.
• Work with RN/provider direction to implement care plans with the team.
• Utilize resources to resolve patient and family concerns.
