Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the Neurology Clinic located at 200 Medical Parkway, Lakeway, TX. The role focuses on patient evaluation, direct care, and participation in care planning under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include thorough assessments, participating in quality evaluations, and creating a safe, healing environment. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential as you support patients and families daily.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Field of study should be Nursing.
• Less than a year of experience in a similar role.
• Must hold a Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License.
• Basic Life Support certification essential, can be obtained within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough assessments following LN scope of practice.
• Participate in evaluating nursing practice effectiveness and quality.
• Create a caring, safe, healing, supportive environment.
• Manage pain and promote comfort for patients.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Work with RN/provider direction to implement care plans.
• Employ strategies to solve problems for patients and staff.
