• Assess patients’ psychological and emotional needs.
• Deliver counseling information and education to patients.
• Determine or coordinate treatment plans.

• Interpret laboratory results and communicate findings.
• Interview patients to obtain comprehensive medical histories.
• Engage in research activities related to genetic counseling.
