Job summary

Westchester Neurology Consultants in Westchester County, NY seeks a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a mixed inpatient/outpatient role with no routine overnight call. The position offers Monday–Friday schedule, collaborative supervision, and opportunities for both full-time and part-time arrangements.

Responsibilities include neurology consultations, examinations, treatment planning, reviewing imaging, and educating patients and families, while maintaining EMR documentation

Qualifications

• Active New York NP or PA license.
• National board certification (AGNP, FNP, ANP, or PA-C).
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and EMR skills.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative physician-supervised model.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.

• Perform neurology consultations and follow-up evaluations.
• Conduct neurological histories and examinations.
• Develop assessment and treatment plans with supervising neurologists.
• Review CT, MRI, EEG, labs, and diagnostics.
• Manage stroke, seizures, encephalopathy, and other neurological conditions.
• Document consults and progress notes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Evaluate new and established patients.
• Perform neurological examinations.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Review imaging and diagnostic studies.
• Manage chronic neurological conditions.
• Educate patients and families.
• Coordinate referrals.

Position Overview

An established and growing neurology practice is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its collaborative team in a mixed inpatient and outpatient role. This position provides the opportunity to manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions while working closely with experienced neurologists in both hospital and office settings.

Schedule

Key Responsibilities
