Yale University is seeking a Communications Officer to partner with the Department of Neurology, developing and distributing content that highlights research, education, and clinical services to internal and external audiences.

The role leads a dynamic communications strategy, writing for websites, newsletters, emails and social platforms, while measuring impact and driving continuous improvement. Hybrid work model at Yale.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience in creating strategic healthcare and/or medical communications or other scientific content.
• Independent self-starter with outstanding written (editing/writing), verbal, and organizational skills and ability to produce high-quality content for websites, newsletters, announcements, brochures, reports, and other media.

Responsabilidades

• Manages relationships with external media sources and pursues media coverage.
• Creates compelling story ideas and narratives; produces content for external/internal channels; writes copy and social posts.
• Plans social media strategies for University communications and programs.
• Supports long-term communication planning with insights into audiences and channels; coordinates with other communications professionals.
• Maintains Yale brand and graphic identity standards; supports asset management.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
