The successful candidate will hold current CMA licensure and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Prior hospital or medical office experience is preferred to provide efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure Board of Certified Medical Assistants
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and providers with patient care and other duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Phone calls are returned and exams are assisted by physicians.
• Special procedures are administered according to clinic policies.
