The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Orthopedic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support patient care in the clinic.

The CMA will work under physician supervision and clinic leadership to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care. Qualifications include current Board Certified Medical Assistant licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure Board of Certified Medical Assistants
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and providers with patient care and other duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Return phone calls and support exams.
• Assist physicians with exams and administer special procedures according to clinic policies.

Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the physicians and Clinic Supervisor, the Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting nursing staff and providers with patient care and other duties associated with efficient running of the clinic. Phone calls are returned. Physicians are assisted with exams. Special procedures are administered according to clinic policies.
