Job summary

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is recruiting a full-time Neurologist to join a collaborative, evidence-based team in the Berkeley/Castro Valley area. The role focuses on general neurology with development of a neuro-palliative practice, within a large multi-specialty group that offers extensive support and a robust benefits package.

Expect 0.8–1.0 FTE with primarily ambulatory duties, telephonic group calls, optional hospital consultations, and a mix of in-person and home visits.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology is required.
• Neuro-palliative training/experience.
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License.
• Current DEA license.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Practice general neurology while developing a neuro-palliative practice.
• Ambulatory clinic: 0.8–1.0 FTE.
• Telephonic group call shared among 8 neurologists.
• Neurology hospital consultation service is optional.
• One day in Castro Valley; 2–3 clinic days in Berkeley.
• One day virtual or home visits.
• Join a multi-specialty group with 1:1 MA support and RN/LCSW for specific services.
