Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Cortex Neurology Research Team is hiring a Research Coordinator to support upcoming neurodegenerative clinical trials. You will recruit and enroll subjects, verify eligibility, obtain consent, and help with scheduling visits and tests.

Additional duties include data extraction from medical records, data entry into the study database, and assisting with IRB communications. A Bachelor's degree is required and 0–1 year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0–1 year of related work experience required.
• Medical terminology.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, including web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll research subjects onto clinical research projects per study protocols.
• Verify eligibility criteria with medical records and PI/CRN approval.
• Discuss informed consent with subjects and assist with scheduling visits and follow-ups.
• Monitor protocol adherence and identify issues; escalate to PI or CRN as needed.
• Extract data from hospital/outpatient records and enter into the database.
• Assist with insurance approvals and scheduling tests/admissions.
• Assist investigator with IRB correspondence.
• Support related duties across clinics as needed.
