Job summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) at The University of Chicago Medical Center is an onsite, patient‑facing researcher working with the PI and Clinical Research Manager to support daily trial activities.

Responsibilities include screening, enrollment, informed consent, data collection, SAE reporting, and ensuring protocol adherence with GCP and IRB processes, while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• College or university degree required.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of clinical trials including screening, enrollment, follow-up, CRFs, and AE reports.
• Coordinate study startup through closeout, recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and protocol adherence.
• Recruit and interview potential subjects with PI guidance.
• Obtain informed consent.
• Plan and coordinate patient schedules for procedures and visits.
• Monitor visits for adverse events and maintain data integrity.
• Ensure SOPs, regulatory compliance, and IRB submissions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
