Job summary

Duke University Hospital Neurology Clinic-3K seeks to hire a Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Neuro Center Clinic (3K) at Duke South Clinic provides care for sleep and seizure patients and emphasizes excellent patient experience.

Location is on-site at Duke Clinic in Durham, NC. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, active RN license, and BLS, with 2+ years RN experience for a PRN role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience required to qualify for a PRN position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) required.
• All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete within seven years.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs of acute and chronically ill patients and their families.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Document and communicate pertinent information using computer/paper tools.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exemplary patient care.
