Job Summary

This position serves as a leader in patient care, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The nurse delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members, assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes, and demonstrates sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions. The role supports unit and departmental strategic goals, exhibits professional responsibility for personal practice, and aligns with the company’s nursing philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care.
  • Assess learning needs, design and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) to serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
  • Use data and knowledge to evaluate outcomes and promote change to achieve optimal results.

Physical and Environmental Demands
