Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation, a part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a customer service professional to support a busy neurology practice in Dover, NH. You will handle high-volume calls, assist patients with scheduling, and support day-to-day administrative tasks in a clinical setting.

No prior healthcare experience is required as structured training is provided. The role is onsite with training in Portsmouth, NH and potential coverage in Portsmouth, NH as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in an office, customer service, call center, or administrative setting is required; healthcare experience helpful but not required.
• High-volume phone experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organization, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm in a busy environment.
• Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering a high volume of calls and assisting patients with scheduling and routine questions.
• Scheduling appointments and supporting patient check-in and check-out.
• Receiving and routing messages about prescription refills, test results, prior authorizations, durable medical equipment (DME), and provider questions to the appropriate clinical team member.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and scanning documents.
• Supporting daily administrative and practice operations.
