Job summary

Atrium Health Neurology Cabarrus in Concord, NC seeks an experienced Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join the outpatient team and support hospital follow-ups. The APP would treat the full scope of general neurology patients in their clinic with the majority of visits dedicated to hospital follow-up care.

The APP will participate in learner education and work with our interdisciplinary team to drive quality initiatives and improve transitions of care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of APP experience in Neurology strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in academic opportunities and education of learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurology outpatient care and hospital follow-ups with a focus on stroke.
• Collaborate with inpatient team to facilitate transition of care.
• Engage with APP leadership and educational initiatives to drive quality and reduce readmissions.
