Job summary

Atrium Health's Neurosciences Institute – Neurology seeks a Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join our outpatient team at the Lincolnton location. The APP will treat a full scope of general neurology patients with an emphasis on autonomous patient care and collaboration with the neurology MD/APP network.

The role offers 40 hours per week, schedule flexibility (4- or 5-day weeks), and a comprehensive benefits package including CME allowance, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as APP required with experience in Neurology strongly preferred.
• Ability to see patients autonomously with the support of other onsite APPs, expertise of onsite rotating subspecialists, and continuous access to our extensive network of neurologists virtually.
• Strong clinical knowledge base with academic desire

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurology care in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates).
• Support transition of care initiatives and collaborate with MDs and APPs across the department.
