Englewood Health in Jersey City is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse to support neurology care. You will work with one physician across Jersey City and Hudson County, providing comprehensive clinical care and coordinating tests and treatments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care in a busy neurology setting with a strong focus on quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey APN license and RN license in good standing.
• National certification as an Adult-Gerontology NP, Family NP, or Acute Care NP.
• Neurology experience strongly preferred; new graduates with strong neurology rotations may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to neurology patients under physician collaboration.
• Identify clinical problems in care of specialty and propose solutions and/or a plan.
• Utilize assessment techniques based on current research and knowledge.
• Prioritize patient care needs; diagnoses based on assessment data and clinical reasoning.
• Perform interventions and treatments with knowledge of healthcare research findings.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, EEGs, and imaging as appropriate.
