Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as an RN Ambulatory for Neurology in a PRN role. You will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assess patients, administer medications, and support teletriage and care planning. Travel within the region to support physician clinics may be required.

PRN shifts typically span mornings with potential to extend to 5:00 pm. Eligible candidates hold RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months if applicable; preferred BSN and 1+ year

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as an RN
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS certification within six months of hire (when area performs sedation or stress testing)
• One year of recent RN or LPN or related clinical experience if transferring within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting
• Assess health status and establish care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Initiate CPR and emergency measures
• Notify physician of abnormal findings
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Educate patients and families about health
• Cover other nursing roles within the department
• Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures
