Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a Neurology team. The role involves inpatient rounds, outpatient clinics, and close collaboration with neurologists and the care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Applicants should be licensed in South Carolina or eligible, with BLS and DEA credentials. Neurology experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years of APP experience recommended.

Qualifications

• NP or PA required (FNP, ANP, AGNP or PA)
• SC licensure or eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• DEA and state prescribing credentials prior to start date
• Neurology experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of two years APP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management for acute and chronic neurological conditions.
• Perform inpatient rounding and neurological consultations.
• Provide ambulatory clinic services in the outpatient setting.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate patients using history, physical examination, labs, diagnostics, and imaging results.
