About This Role
Biogen is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and results-oriented Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) to support the launch of a medication for MCI and Alzheimer’s Disease. This field-based role involves developing and maintaining relationships with neurologists, allied health professionals, and support staff. The role leverages account management skills to increase screening, support referrals, and drive initiatives impacting Alzheimer’s treatment pathways in health systems. The NAS will develop and execute sales plans for their territory.

What You'll Do
As part of Biogen’s Alzheimer’s team, you will communicate complex clinical data, protocols, screening and treatment pathways, market access policies, and patient support information to healthcare professionals and stakeholders. You will identify and support educational needs, aligning Biogen’s products with evolving healthcare provider needs in a compliant manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales experience, including areas like infusion, diagnostic, biologic, medical device, rare disease, or neurology. Experience with neurology and infused products is preferred. Co-promotion and launch experience are a plus.
  • Experience with alliance partnerships and understanding healthcare delivery systems is preferred.
  • Success in account management, group practice, or GPO roles is preferred.
  • Additional commercial experience (sales training, marketing, analytics) is a plus.
  • Must support a culture of compliance and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record.
  • Reside in the territory.

Responsibilities
Develop clinical expertise, educate HCPs on disease states and products, understand hospital and infusion center processes, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Execute business plans to meet strategic goals, influence hospital formulary decisions, and drive sales performance.

Additional Information
Base salary ranges from $151,000 to $202,000, with potential incentives. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, paid time off, 401(k), stock purchase, tuition reimbursement, and more.
