Qualifications

About the Role:

This role is responsible for a specific geographic territory, promoting and growing Neurocrine products. The individual manages long-term relationships in Neurology with physicians and other healthcare professionals, representing Neurocrine brands and their indications. The role also involves educating external customers such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and case managers about our products.

Your Contributions (include, but not limited to):

  • Create product acceptance and manage sales growth through education in targeted Neurology accounts.
  • Execute sales strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed sales goals via in-person or virtual meetings.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate and segment the neurological movement disorder market.
  • Utilize promotional resources and budget effectively.
  • Maintain excellent communication and relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Uphold high ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers.
  • Build relationships with local opinion leaders to achieve objectives.
  • Engage with the patient care team to meet their needs and build relationships.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders, professional groups, advocacy groups, payers, and pharmacies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in science or related field with 8+ years of pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical sales, preferably in Neurology. Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution and in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotics is highly preferred. Familiarity with business systems and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) is also preferred.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in science or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.

The estimated annual base salary ranges from $120,600 to $174,700. Additional compensation includes an incentive plan targeting $44,000 annually, participation in our long-term incentive program, and benefits such as retirement plans, paid leave, and health coverage.
