Job summary

Oregon Medical Group (OMG), part of Optum, seeks a Neurology Physician to join our collegial, physician-led team in Eugene, Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for both new graduate neurologists seeking mentorship and experienced physicians interested in tailoring their practice to personal clinical interests and lifestyle goals.

OMG offers a four-day work week with no call, flexibility to subspecialize, strong referral base, and access to advanced imaging and EMGs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year US Medical School or equivalent.
• Completed Neurology residency.
• Unrestricted Oregon MD/DO license or ability to obtain.
• Current DEA certificate prior to start date.
• BE/BC in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurology care with flexibility for subspecialties.
• Tailor clinical focus over time to interests.
• Collaborate with a strong referral network within the primary care base.
• Utilize advanced imaging and perform EMGs as appropriate.
• Receive mentorship and collegial support from the neurology team.

Education

Graduate of four-year US Medical School or equivalent

Neurology Residency completed

Oregon MD/DO license (unrestricted)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year US Medical School or equivalent
• Successful completion of Neurology Residency
• Unrestricted Oregon Physician (MD/DO) License or ability to obtain
• Current DEA certificate prior to start date

The salary range for this role is $330,000 to $423,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
