Nassau Medical Group in Long Island, NY, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a physician-led, well-established group.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Licensed to practice in New York.
• Strong diagnostic and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Experience with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive GI care.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostics (labs, imaging, pathology).
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group, managing high-volume, diverse patients in a full-scope GI practice.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders (IBD, IBS, liver disease, motility disorders, biliary diseases).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with pharmacological and lifestyle interventions.
• Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs) for early detection and management of GI pathologies.
• Maintain up-to-date EMRs to support clinical workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote preventive health strategies, esp. colorectal cancer screening and chronic liver disease management.
• Participate in ongoing education and practice-improvement efforts.
