Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's CHI Health Immanuel Neurological Institute in Omaha seeks a Clinical and Academic Epilepsy Neurologist to deliver comprehensive epilepsy and stroke care. Board-eligible/certified in Neurology with epilepsy fellowship, the role includes teaching Creighton University School of Medicine and medical students, with opportunities for translational research.

The position supports an active Epilepsy Center (Level 4), a thrombectomy-capable stroke program, and EMG/EEG services; visa

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• BE/BC in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Movement Disorders required.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska; DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological services with focus on epilepsy and stroke care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary department of subspecialists.
• Contribute to teaching and academic activities in neurology residency and Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Engage in translational research opportunities and EMG/EEG services.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical and Academic Epilepsy Neurologist, you will provide comprehensive neurological services focusing on Epilepsy and stroke care. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System – The Nations’ largest faith based health system.

Every day you will change lives by providing comprehensive neurological services to patients with general and epilepsy neurological conditions. You will work with a well rounded department with multiple subspecialist colleagues trained at premier institutions.

To be successful in your role, you will be board eligible or board certified in Neurology and fellowship trained in epilepsy. This position is well-suited for a Neurologist that is passionate about providing comprehensive clinical services with a patient-centered approach.
