Job summary

CHI Health in Omaha, NE seeks a Clinical and Academic Cognitive Disorders/Behavioral Neurologist to provide memory-care focused neurological services within a multidisciplinary team. A strong opportunity exists for translational research with Creighton University and teaching in the neurology residency program.

The candidate should be board eligible or board certified in Neurology, fellowship trained in Cognitive Disorders or Behavioral Neurology, and eligible for Nebraska licensure.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • BE/BC in Neurology.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska.
  • DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cognitive disorders/behavioral neurological services focusing on memory care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary department and subspecialists.
  • Engage in translational research with Creighton neuroscientists.
  • Accept an academic appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine.
  • Teach medical students and residents in the neurology residency program.
  • Support CHI Health Immanuel's Neurological Institute, a thrombectomy-capable stroke center.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical and Academic Cognitive Disorders/Behavioral Neurologist, you will provide comprehensive neurological services focusuing on memory care. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System - The Nations' largest faith based health system.

Every day you will provide comprehensive cognitive disorders/behavioral neurological services. You will work with a well rounded department with multiple subspecialist colleagues trained at premier institutions.

To be succesful in your role, you will be board eligible or board certified in Neurology. You will be fellowship trained in Cognitive Disorders, or Behavioral Neurology, or Geriatric Neurology. This position is well-suited for a Neurologist that is passionate about providing comprehensive clinical services with a patient-centered approach.
