Job summary

Qualifications

• Academic teaching eligibility and appointment with TUMG
• Current Board Certification in Neurology or eligibility
• Current California Medical Licensure and CA address for licensure
• Current DEA Licensure with CA address
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide Neurologic patient care at SJMC Stockton, CA as required.
• Provide outpatient Neurologic services at sites designated by TUMG.
• Educate and precept SJMC residents and Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine medical students.
• Participate in formative and summative evaluations of learners.
• May participate in SJMC GME committees and related education programs.
• Assist in didactic and clinical education activities for neurology learners.
• Comply with hospital bylaws, TUMG bylaws and ACGME policies.
• Dedicate an average of 36–40 hours per week to neurology practice as per contract.
• Engage in academic societies and educational programs to enhance skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
