Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's CHI Health in Omaha, NE, seeks a Neurologist with epilepsy expertise to join a growing department and provide comprehensive neurologic care to diverse patients.

The role offers an academic appointment with Creighton University, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities to participate in translational research. Board eligibility/certification in Neurology and epilepsy fellowship preferred. Visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• BE/BC in Neurology.
• Fellowship in Movement Disorders.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska.
• DEA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care focusing on epilepsy and stroke.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists.
• Engage in translational research with Creighton neuroscientists.
• Participate in academic appointment and teaching of medical students and residents.
• Contribute to the neurology residency program and patient education.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical and Academic Epilepsy Neurologist, you will provide comprehensive neurological services focusing on Epilepsy and stroke care. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System - The Nations' largest faith based health system.

Every day you will change lives by providing comprehensive neurological services to patients with general and epilepsy neurological conditions. You will work with a well rounded department with multiple subspecialist colleagues trained at premier institutions.

To be successful in your role, you will be board eligible or board certified in Neurology and fellowship trained in epilepsy. This position is well-suited for a Neurologist that is passionate about providing comprehensive clinical services with a patient-centered approach.
