Job Summary

The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring they receive the necessary care. The Physician collaborates with other health professionals and strives for high standards within the specialty of neurology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional medical services to patients in the field of neurology.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand a neurology practice in the community.
  • Fulfill practice time commitments and participate in on‑call obligations.
  • Collaborate with other providers to deliver quality care.
  • Manage accurate coding and documentation of all patient care in accordance with system policies.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain proficiency with the electronic health record system and other clinical technology.
  • Supervise and coordinate care in collaborative arrangements with other providers.
  • Attend professional conventions, post‑graduate seminars, and clinical research/trials as approved.
  • Adequately participate in recruitment of other neurology providers.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, utilization review, risk management, performance improvement, and compliance initiatives.
  • Assist in overseeing day‑to‑day operations and medical management of the practice location.
  • Maintain minimum recommended practice productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. required.
  • License to practice medicine in Missouri.
  • Completion of a residency in neurology.
