Yavapai Regional Medical Group in Prescott, AZ seeks a Neurologist to deliver both general and advanced neurological care in a growing outpatient setting. You will join two neurologists and become part of a state-of-the-art outpatient service building, with a patient mix including MS, Parkinson's, dementia, seizures, and stroke.

The role features clinic hours Monday through Thursday 8am–4pm and Friday 8am–12pm, inpatient rounds before 8am or after 4pm, and 9 call days per month with one weekend.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification/eligible.
• Completed ACGME accredited fellowship training and/or ABMS Board Certification in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and advanced neurology procedures (EMG/NCV, EEG, LP, Botox, Occipital Blocks, Myobloc).
• See 15-18 patients per day in outpatient setting; inpatient on-call 0-3 per day.
• Conduct 13-15 weekly consults (each ~40 minutes); clinic Mon-Thu 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-12pm; inpatient rounds as scheduled.
• Share call duties (9 days per month with one weekend).
• Collaborate with Surgery, Pathology, Radiology; participate in a robust support network.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Yavapai Regional Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking a Neurologist that performs general and advanced procedures in Prescott, AZ.

• Join 2 Neurologists
• This is a solo practice but will be moving into a state of the art new Outpatient Service Building
• Population: MS, Parkinson's, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Seizures, Stroke, Balance Issues, Neuropathy, Migraine, ALS, Ataxia, Bell's Palsy, Cerebral PalsyBrain
• 15-18 total patients per day
• Inpatient: When on-call varies 0-3 per day
• Consults: 13-15 per week, Consults are 40 mins
• Monday-Thursday; 8am-4pm clinic patients. Inpatients before 8am, lunch, or 4pm. Friday 8am-12pm in clinic
• Procedures: EMG - NCV, EEG, Lumbar Puncture, Botox, Occipital Blocks, Myobloc
• Call: 9 days per month with one weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Job Requirements

• Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting in the position
