Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Neurologist at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, providing emergency evaluations, and performing various diagnostic procedures. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-approved residency, hold relevant certifications, have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, and possess an unrestricted Nevada medical license. The position also includes a Monday to Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an ACGME-approved Neurology Medical Residency.
• Minimum of 2 years of neurological clinical experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Board certification in adult Neurology is essential.
• Unrestricted medical license in Nevada is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
• Perform lumbar punctures, interpret nerve conduction studies, and electromyography.
• Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
• Administer chemo-denervation for common neurological conditions.

• Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on‑call

• Unrestricted medical license in Nevada

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur
• Perform lumbar punctures, interpret nerve conduction studies and electromyography
• Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms
• Administer chemo‑denervation (e.g., botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions
