McLaren Northern Michigan has an excellent opportunity for a Neurosurgeon to join a thriving team of two Neurosurgeons and one Orthopedic Spine Surgeon in Petoskey, Michigan. The hospital provides a supportive and experienced clinical environment with significant market share growth potential. Procedures include disc surgery, surgical fusions, kyphoplasty, and skull-base surgery. Clinic and hospital support are provided by a Physician Assistant, with call coverage of 1:3. The candidate must be BC/BE. Additional highlights include:

  • State-of-the-art Technology: In-house O-Arm and Stealth, Leica microscope, upgraded Medtronic surgical devices, Stryker Pneumatic drill, and trauma systems.
  • Multidisciplinary Support: A spine/neurosurgery referral center, Oncology support from Karmanos Cancer Institute, Pain management support, and a Level II Trauma Center.
  • Commitment to Quality Care: Major expansion with 92 new private rooms, additional observation beds, renovated facilities, and larger operating rooms to accommodate newer technology.
