Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree from an approved school of occupational therapy.
• Current occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinic care and occupational therapy duties.
• Addresses physical, cognitive, neurologic, psychosocial, and functional needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Establishes occupational therapy interventions based on evaluation, orders, and patient goals.
• Performs occupational therapy techniques and procedures.
• Provides continuity of care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals.
• Recommends equipment prior to discharge and assists with acquisition.
• Documents findings and patient progress within established time frames.
• Submits all patient billing at the end of each day.
• Instructs patients and family members in home programs.
• Demonstrates effective time management.
• Complies with quality improvement standards.
