Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Neuroradiology team. This inpatient-focused role involves pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care with potential clinic coverage.

Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with scheduling variability based on clinic needs. Strong IR/Radiology experience and board-eligible credentials preferred; ACLS/BLS required as per UT Southwestern policy.

Qualifications

• One to two years of Interventional Radiology (IR) or Radiology experience preferred.
• Master's degree or higher in nursing with Texas BON and prescriptive authority.
• ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with appropriate orders and interpretations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in procedural skills relevant to neuroradiology.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling on care and preventive health.
• Participate in quality initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate on research protocols and apply evidence-based practices.
