Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Neurointerventional Radiology team in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on caring for IR patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, including pre/post-procedure care and ICU co-management.

Ideal candidates have acute/critical care experience, MA licensure, and NP/PA certifications; LLVM research involvement encouraged and a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited PA program are required.
• Master's degree in an accredited NP program; ACNP/AGACNP preferred.
• Massachusetts license for Physician Assistant and NCCPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Neuro-Interventional radiology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform pre-procedure history and physicals, consultations and post-procedure follow-ups.
• Co-manage post-procedure in inpatient and ICU settings; handle outpatient follow-ups.
• Provide continuity of care and coordinate communication among care teams and families.
• After training, perform minor procedures including lumbar punctures, suturing and first assisting.
