Job summary

The Korecka Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/HMS is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study microbiome‑driven mechanisms in Parkinson’s disease dementia. The role uses human iPSC-derived microglia and co-culture systems to define pathways that drive neuroinflammation.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent doctorate or anticipated to such degree prior to start.
• Strong publication track record.
• Experience with human iPSC culture and differentiation.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments on neuroimmune mechanisms in PD.
• Work with human stem cells and microglia/neuronal co-cultures.
• Analyze RNAseq and/or single-cell RNAseq data.
• Contribute to grants and scientific publications.
• Mentor technicians and visiting students.
