Job summary
Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Bryan, TX is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct independent and collaborative research focused on neuroimmunology, stress and trauma biology, and immune-brain interactions. Qualifications
- Appropriate PhD in a neuroscience, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute research studies.
- Experience mentoring students or junior researchers.
- Record of manuscript preparation and grant writing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research into neuroimmunology, stress and trauma biology.
- Develop and implement mouse models related to neuroimmunology and physiology.
- Perform rodent surgical procedures and postoperative care.
- Prepare manuscripts and present findings at conferences.
- Collaborate across immunology, neuroscience, psychiatry and cardiovascular physiology.
