Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) seeks an additional Neurology APP to join our Neuroimmunology program in Urbana, Illinois, providing ambulatory care alongside an established team.

You'll evaluate and treat MS and other neuroimmunology disorders, with flexible scheduling (five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts) and emphasis on clinical excellence. EHR proficiency is required, with opportunities for neuroimmunology-focused education.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Illinois Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure.
  • Excellent clinical skills in history and physical examinations.
  • Flexible scheduling with either five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts (from ad).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Neuroimmunology physicians to evaluate and treat patients with multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunology disorders.
  • Join an established team of eight Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Maintain proficiency with the electronic health record.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development within the team, including case discussions and neuroimmunology-focused education.

Overview

Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) is seeking an additional Neurology APP to join our Neuroimmunology program in our ambulatory clinic in Urbana, Illinois.



Opportunity Details


  • Join an established team of 8 other Advanced Practice Providers

  • Collaborate closely with Neuroimmunology physicians to evaluate and treat patients with multiple sclerosis, other neuroimmunology disorders, and adult neurologic conditions

  • Flexible scheduling with either five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts

  • Experience in the evaluation and management of neurological patients preferred but not required

  • Interest in neuroimmunology and care of patients with complex chronic neurologic diseases encouraged

  • Candidates must have excellent clinical skills in history and physical examinations

  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development within the team, including case discussions, didactics, and neuroimmunology-focused education. Conference attendance encouraged

  • Proficiency with electronic health record required

  • Procedural skills not required but opportunity to pursue them if desired

Education Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72-$78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
