Cedars-Sinai invites you to join the Ajami Lab as a Project Scientist contributing to a new program focused on immune mechanisms driving neurodegeneration, with emphasis on ALS and microglial biology.

The Project Scientist works with the Principal Investigator to conduct high-level research, manage day-to-day lab operations, participate in publications, and help advance grant-related activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Immunology, Neuroscience, or closely related field.
• Postdoctoral training completed or applicable.
• Strong publication record (first-author papers).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lab experiments and data analysis.
• Develop, adapt and implement new techniques and protocols.
• Publish and present research results as author or co-author.
• Lead or train staff researchers and manage day-to-day lab activities.
• Collaborate with PI to advance independent research goals.
