Job summary

Artinis & NIRx invites a Scientific Consultant to join our neuroscience team in the US. You will apply your Ph.D./Master’s training to advise researchers on fNIRS/EEG/fMRI methods, plan studies, analyze data, and help publish findings.

You’ll travel to labs and conferences, present demos, and support customers from ideas to results. We seek excellent written and spoken English, strong communication, and a passion for advancing brain science.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of acquisition and analysis of physiological signals; experience with fNIRS, EEG, and/or fMRI preferred.
• Excellent English skills, oral and written.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for excelling in this role.
• Public speaking experience; ability to present to large audiences in person or remotely.
• Willingness to travel 25-35% of the time.
• Must be based in the USA and hold a Passport for possible international travel (US Green Card holder or US Citizen).

Responsibilities

• Develop an expert understanding of fNIRS technology and related research developments.
• Consult scientists on the best solution for their research questions and goals.
• Interact with leading researchers across fields and disciplines.
• Build relationships within the research community and handle sales requests via email, phone, and sessions.
• Travel to research hubs to provide demonstrations, workshops, and training; engage at conferences.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, grant writers, and others; act as voice-of-the-customer to the organization.
