Job summary

UC San Diego’s Dean Laboratory in the Department of Anesthesiology and Center for Psychedelic Research seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator for Fall 2026. The role oversees start-up, recruitment, screening, enrollment, and data quality across multiple phase I-III trials on DMT and related compounds in healthy volunteers and patients.

• Bachelor's degree in a social science or basic science such as Biology, Microbiology or related field.
• Experience in clinical trials research and data collection.
• Experience with IRB processes, study activation, and protocol design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up procedures, implementation, recruitment, screening, enrollment, and maintenance of subjects.
• Develop informational and recruitment materials; liaise with UCSD departments for study implementation.
• Plan and implement start-up procedures for multiple phase I-III studies; lead operational efforts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines and data quality.
