Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC seeks a BC/BE Neurologist to join as a Neurohospitalist at McLeod Regional Medical Center. The role includes inpatient neurological care within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a support network of neurology and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of 2 Neurohospitalists, APPs, and a full neurology and neurosurgery support network.
• Practice within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center (since 2014).
• Manage inpatient neurological care including stroke and acute neuro conditions.
• Participate in post-tPA/TNK patient management (experience preferred).
• EEG reading capability preferred but not required.
• Stroke alerts managed in collaboration with ER and Tele-Neurology.
• Nighttime Tele-Neurology coverage available for support.
