Job summary

Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join an employed general inpatient Neurology Group on a full-time basis. The position focuses on inpatient consults including stroke, seizures, EEG interpretation, and other neurological conditions.

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and hold or be able to obtain a South Carolina medical license. Vascular neurology experience is preferred, and there is hospitalist support for the service.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
• Has a South Carolina license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Consult service only with stroke, seizure, EEG interpretation and reading, and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Join an employed general inpatient Neurology Group.
• Provide inpatient neurology consults (stroke, seizures, EEG interpretation).
• Collaborate with hospitalists and endovascular neurosurgeons.

Trident Medical Center, a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center, is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join a employed general inpatient Neurology Group on a full time basis.

Applicant Qualifications and Expectations

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• Has a South Carolina license or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting
• Average of 15 days a month
• Vascular neurologist preferred
• Consult service only (Consults include stroke, seizure, EEG interpretation and reading and other Neurological conditions)
• Hospitalist program to provide support
• Joining 1 neurologist and 2 endovascular neurosurgeons
• APP Supervision
