Job summary

The University of Minnesota Physicians is looking for a full-time neuro-hospitalist to deliver clinical neurology services. The successful candidate will serve at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and other community hospitals, providing both inpatient care and teaching medical students and residents.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $218,757 to $344,326 based on experience and qualifications, along with substantial benefits including a 401K, CME allowance, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient clinical services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
• Teach and supervise medical students and residents.
• Participate in quality improvement and care model optimization.

Skills

Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program

Board Certified or Board Prepared

Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
