Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Neurohospitalist to expand its growing neuroscience services across Piedmont Macon Medical Center and Piedmont Macon North Hospital in Macon, Georgia. The role offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule with consultative responsibilities and strong hospital support within a comprehensive stroke program.

Ideal candidates hold Neurology board certification or eligibility, fellowship in Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred, and eligibility for Georgia

Qualifikationen

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology is required.
• Fellowship in Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
• Candidates with strong General Neurology experience are encouraged to apply.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.

Aufgaben

• Provide neurohospitalist consults within a comprehensive stroke program.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver telemedicine stroke coverage for acute stroke alerts.
• Participate in a growing neuroscience program and care model.

Kenntnisse

General Neurology experience

Ausbildung

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology

Georgia medical licensure eligible
