Piedmont Health System is recruiting BC/BE neuro-hospitalists for the Piedmont Macon Medical location in Macon, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity to help build our neurology program and grow the neurosciences service line.

The service line includes neurosurgery, neuro hospitalist and neuro intensivist services with a dedicated stroke/neuro unit. 80 miles south of Atlanta, Macon offers rich history, Southern charm, and easy access to the airport and Atlanta attractions.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Neurology required
• MD or DO degree required
• APP support available
• System-wide 1:12 call
• 7 on/7 off shifts
• Ability to read EEGs welcomed
• Epic EMR in use
• Quality, Service, and Reputation are emphasized

Responsibilities

• Help build and grow the neurology program
• Develop neurosciences service line and neuro ICU integration plan
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuro ICU and stroke teams
