Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking a neurohospitalist to join our Department of Neurology. This role features a 7 on/7 off schedule and collaboration with resident-led teams and multidisciplinary specialists to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Academic appointment is commensurate with experience, with opportunities for research and quality-improvement initiatives. The position can be 100% neurohospitalist or split between the neurohospitalist and stroke teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
• Board certification/eligibility in neurology; open to additional sub-specialty certification.
• Ability to obtain/maintain New Hampshire medical license.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
• Passion for educating patients and families as well as medical students, residents, and fellows.

Dartmouth Health is looking for a neurohospitalist to join our growing Department of Neurology.

This position is based at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level I trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout northern New England. Our flagship academic medical center is a 400+ bed tertiary and quaternary care facility and was ranked among America’s top 100 hospitals for 2025 by Becker’s Hospital Review.
