Overview

The Department of Neurology is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join our stroke team.

This position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level 1 trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. DHMC was named New Hampshire’s Best Hospital (2025-2026) by U.S. News & World Report and is certified for advanced stroke care by The Joint Commission.

Overview:

• Outpatient position
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Collaborate with other APPs, neurologists, fellows, residents, and medical students
• Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up visits
• Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive strategies
• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
