The opportunity

This position is part of a sales team focused on psychiatry, responsible for an approved long-acting injectable and promoting our existing psychiatry products in the Seattle area. The Sales Specialist achieves results through collaborative, compliant, and ethical efforts, aligning resources with organizational objectives. They analyze trends, apply knowledge to customer interactions, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential to guide customers towards solutions.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
  • Achieve sales goals for your territory
  • Coordinate efforts with sales leadership, other teams, market access, and training
  • Develop business plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build rapport with healthcare professionals and staff
  • Provide product demonstrations and education
  • Maintain a high level of face-to-face customer interactions
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance
  • Adhere to all compliance policies
Your Experience And Qualifications

Ideal candidates have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred, especially in psychiatric areas
  • Successful sales record and relationship-building skills
  • Experience launching psychiatric products in various care settings
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Ability to interact effectively in live and virtual environments
  • Understanding of reimbursement and pull-through strategies
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of managed care and marketing is a plus
  • Experience with community mental health centers is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight and weekends
  • Valid US driver’s license and background check clearance
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
