Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in basic science or related field; four years experience may substitute.
• Minimum one year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience working with mice is preferred (and may be required).

Responsibilities

• Assist molecular biology techniques and experiments including RT-PCR, RNA/protein isolation, western blotting, cloning, and immunofluorescence.
• Perform biochemical assays such as GBA and ARSA activity.
• Maintain mouse colonies, genotype via PCR, perform mouse behavior studies, and manage breeding.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data with postdoctoral staff.
• Conduct literature searches and summarize information for experiments.
• Document results in lab notebook and track reagents and supplies.
• Train to passage and maintain iPSC cultures and differentiate neuron cultures.
