FTE: 0.9

Standard hours: 36.00

Shift: Shift 1 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am – 8:30 pm)

This weekend program compensates an additional 15% on the base rate.

Job Summary

Searching for a level II Neurodiagnostic Technologist for our weekend program. Under the limited supervision of the Neurodiagnostic (ND) Tech Educator or a delegated team member, the successful candidate will prepare patients for routine Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), long‑term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, Neuro‑Interventional Radiology WADA, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET), including diagnostic and investigative studies in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units for all ages of patients served by the department. Additional duties may include charge capture, scheduling patients, and other tasks as assigned. The candidate may be required to float to other sites to ensure optimal department operations.

Experience
  • Ability to perform EEG, with additional experience in one or more of the following: Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Autonomics, Long‑Term Monitoring, Evoked Potentials, or Magnetoencephalography.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician preferred; or graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalography E Evoked Potentials (ABRET).
Licensure
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred registration with the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) in at least one of the following certifications: Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (EEG), Registered Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Certified Long‑Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), or Registered Evoked Potential Technologist.
