Responsibilities

  • Summarize technical data to assist physicians diagnosing nervous system disorders.
  • Perform EEG, PSG, NCS, and EMG tests and submit reports.
  • Place electrodes, calibrate equipment, and adjust settings for tests.
  • Collect medical information and explain procedures to patients.
  • Identify artifacts on recordings and report results to physicians.
  • Set up montages and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Assist in training staff and participate in research activities.
